On the afternoon of December 27th, Zhishan College, Schwarzman College and Zijing College, co-hosted the "Continental Fair" Global Food Festival and International Culture Market. The event was attended by Tang Ke, Dean of Zhishan College; Sun Zhen, Student Group Leader of Zhishan College; Wei Hailong, Deputy Secretary of the University Youth League Committee; and over 200 teachers and students from across the university.

The event was a platform for Chinese and international students to explore diverse cultures and strengthen friendships. Held at Schwarzman College, the fair featured three main areas: cultural experience, food tasting, and interactive photo spots, encouraging dialogue among participants and bridging distances through face-to-face interaction.

The cultural experience zone offered seven interactive stations: Chinese calligraphy, Malaysian handmade kites, Malaysian rice dumpling crafting, African drumming, coffee art, Australian trivia, and perfume blending. Malaysian students demonstrated how to wrap rice dumplings with vibrant colored threads, while African students delivered professional drum performances. Participants engaged firsthand with the richness of global traditions through hands-on activities.

The food zone served as a culinary bridge, featuring spring rolls, sushi, burgers, Spanish paella, Mexican tacos, French pastries, and more. With aromas mingling and laughter filling the air, volunteers shared the origins and stories behind each dish, bringing people closer through the universal language of food.

Attendees received special cultural souvenirs, including tote bags, puzzles, stickers, and keychains, each infused with international design elements. Many took photos with Zhishan College’s mascot "Zhi Xiaoshan" and decorative boards from various country booths. Through these creative takeaways, the spirit of cross-cultural exchange extended beyond the event itself.
